Inspired to capture the unique silhouette of a spring time daffodil flower. This framed piece is made with silk noil (raw silk) fabric that was dyed with weld, iron and indigo. Then using pigment extracted from earths ocher to make printing ink, the silhouette is then stamped onto the fabric and framed out with maple wood.
Each piece is incredibly unique and cannot be exactly duplicated.
